Try one or two of these ideas today! 

For All Ages 

Connecting with others 

  • Call or video chat with a friend or relative 
  • Write a letter to someone
  • Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep.
  • Start a Journal - Link to some writing prompts about gratitude

Wellness Checks for Seniors

  • The Town of Windsor Senior Recreation Center is offering wellness checks to any senior who would like to be called during the shelter-in-place order. If you know a senior who could use a social wellness check, please email Erin,, with their name and phone number and we will be sure to add them to our phone list.

For the Kids 

Connecting with others 

  • Schedule a time to call or video chat with family or friends from school
  • Write a letter or draw a picture for your neighbors and leave it on their porch 
  • Make an obstacle course in your house or backyard and time yourself 
  • Make a fort and send a picture to your friends.
