Parks and Recreation Commission

Overview

The Parks and Recreation Commission is a standing citizen advisory committee composed of five adult Commissioners and two youth Commissioners. Each Council Member appoints an adult Commissioner for a four-year term coinciding with that of the Council Member making the appointment. To be eligible for appointment to the Commission, one must be a resident of the Town of Windsor.

In 2010, the Town Council established two seats on the Parks and Recreation Commission for youth Commissioners who each serve a one-year term during their junior and senior year of high school.
