Sonoma County Fire District

The Sonoma County Fire District is committed to providing superior service while protecting and improving the safety and welfare of our community.

Fire Chief Mark Heine and his dedicated staff are responsible to a community of close to 30,000 people, and serve across 30.75 square miles.

The Sonoma County Fire District is governed by a Board of Directors and provides services within Town of Windsor boundaries, as well as to surrounding rural and/or unincorporated areas.
