EVACUATION WARNING ISSUED FOR TOWN OF WINDSOR - ZONE A
An Evacuation Warning for Zone A within Town Limits has been issued by CalFIRE. Zone A is the area west of Highway 101 and north of Windsor River Road. This is NOT a mandatory evacuation order, it is a precautionary warning. However, we are urging everyone residing in these areas to be prepared to evacuate should the fire conditions change.

Evacuation Points
A Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP) has been established at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa. The Temporary Evacuation Point is not a shelter. Staff onsite will direct evacuees to the appropriate shelter for their situation, including RV parking, hotels and motels, and places to stay, with or without their small pets. Staff can also recommend other community resources that can be helpful during the evacuation. Basic Evacuation Tips
• There will not be one pre-designated route because there are so many variables that may make a route viable or not.
• Given the current circumstances, avoid heading toward the Guerneville and Bodega Bay areas.
• The best thing to do is to have multiple routes out of town from your home in different directions.
• Practice those routes today so that if-and-when the time comes to evacuate, you’re less under pressure.
