There was minimal fire growth today, with the fire remaining at 5% containment. At this time there is no immediate threat to Windsor, however, the evacuation warning for Windsor Zone A remains in effect as a precautionary measure. Today, firefighting efforts continued along the eastern perimeter of the fire in the Peña Creek, Dorman Canyon, and Sweetwater Springs drainage areas. While we did have some helicopter flights today, aircraft activity was limited due to conditions created by the inversion layer and smoke.
Forecasted Red Flag dry lightning weather conditions did not materialize today and the Red Flag warning has been canceled. Currently, winds are coming out of the southwest (heading in a northeast direction) which is favorable for Windsor. Sonoma County Fire District and allied agencies are continuing to monitor conditions and weather developments.

Hoy hubo un crecimiento mínimo del fuego, y el fuego permaneció en un 5% de contención.
