The Walbridge Fire is currently 54,503 acres in size and 17% contained. In the area near Windsor, the fire has begun to slowly back down into some of the slopes and drainages. However, there is no immediate threat to Windsor. This said, conditions can change at a moment's notice, so Windsor residents should continue to monitor the situation and be prepared. Out of an abundance of caution, an Evacuation Warning remains in effect for Zone A.
Yesterday, firefighting efforts along the eastern perimeter of the fire were focused on slowing advances of the fire in the Peña Creek and Dorman Canyon areas west of Healdsburg and in the Sweetwater Springs area closer to Windsor. Bull-dozed contingency lines were established between the fire and northwest Windsor.
Today, firefighting activities on the eastern perimeter of the fire will continue in the Peña Creek and Sweetwater Springs areas. Humidity levels are currently favorable for firefighting and no significant expansion of the fire is anticipated today. Sonoma County Fire District continues to conduct field observations for “spot fires” caused by embers that drift out from the fire in the area between Windsor and the closest point of the fire. The wind direction is expected to shift tomorrow to the north-northwest (heading in a south-southeast direction).

El incendio de Walbridge tiene actualmente un tamaño de 54,503 acres y está contenido en un 17%. En el área cerca de Windsor, el fuego ha comenzado a retroceder lentamente hacia algunas de las pendientes y drenajes. Sin embargo, no existe una amenaza inmediata para Windsor.
