(**Please note in person inquiries may not always be fulfilled at the time of request based on type of report) It is helpful if you call the police department and request the report before going in person. Have the case number or basic information such as date and time of incident, as well as officers name. Yes, per Windsor Municipal Code Chapter 3-3-200. An application and $87.00 application fee must be submitted to the police department. At that time arrangements will be made for fingerprinting which is done at the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. Once a clearance has been received and the application has been approved by the Chief, a permit will be issued. Please read Title III, Chapter three of the Municipal Code for further details.
